How to Join us

We are looking for highly motivated undergraduate students, graduate students and postdocs who are fascinated by understanding the design principles of tissue organisation. Students should be interested in single cell technologies to address fundamental cell and developmental biology questions, while postdoctoral candidates should have a background in cell or developmental biology, computational and quantitative approaches and/or modelling. Prior experience in imaging is not required but postdoctoral candidates must be eager and enthusiastic to learn under our guidance.

Bachelor’s and Master’s students

Please send an email to Prisca to inquire about possible projects and briefly describe your motivation for pursuing an internship in our group. Please include a CV and university transcripts.

PhD Students

PhD students are accepted through the FMI International PhD Program and must apply using the respective online application portal for the winter (January) or summer (June) selection. Prospective students interested in joining our lab for their PhD studies may also contact Prisca directly (email) to express their interest and discuss the availability of open positions. Please include your CV, university transcripts, and a brief explanation for why you are interested in our group.

Postdoctoral Candidates

Highly motivated postdoctoral candidates who have a strong interest in integrating single cell, imaging and computational approaches to understand self-organisation and cell-to-cell variability are encouraged to apply. Please email your application (including a motivation letter describing your past research experience and your future research interests, your CV and two to three reference letters) to Prisca.
